I am so lucky to get another voxbox from Influencer. This time they sent the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks in Demi Glace, Flambe, and Eclair to try. They also sent me a Bite Beauty Lip Primer!
This review is completely my own personal thought and I’ve included my swatches/looks below.
Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick
This was a very nice, moisturizing lipstick with great color payout! I was very pleasantly surprised with them. I was especially surprised at how they looked on me since I’m typically a nude lip only kind of girl.
The Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick has a nice satin finish. I know matte lipsticks are trending right now, but I can’t really wear matte without my lips drying out. This was a great alternative for me!
Bite Beauty Lip Primer
The lip primer had a mint smell and tingle which was very nice. However, I did not see any plumping that I would assume would come with the mint feel. (It doesn’t claim plumping on the website, but typically mint = plumping which this primer did not.)
I think it did a nice job to prevent feathering. However, I’m not much of a lip primer wearer, so I would say save your money on this and go straight for an Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick. 🙂
I am wearing Demi Glace in this look. I was very surprised with this color since I haven’t really tried dark lips much, but this was a nice nude-y/dark lip hybrid! I was pleasantly surprised by this color—definitely recommend especially for the fall!
I’m wearing Eclair in this look. I was also very surprised at this look. I never wear anything this bright, but I think I can wear this color confidently (some days) without me second guessing myself. 😛 I would recommend for those who are looking for something fun to wear!
I am wearing Flambe in this look. I was not a fan of this color. But I can’t pull off a red lipstick anyways so this didn’t offend me. It was a very bright red, so if anyone is looking for that iconic red lip, this is the one for you!
The Bite Beauty Lip Primer is going for $22. Based on my research, this seems to be the average price that lip primers go for.
The Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick is going for $24. Again, pretty average with the competitors.
I loved the lipsticks for sure. My favorite was Demi Glace out of the 3 and I will definitely be using it for the fall when darker lips come back in.
I would probably pass on the primer, but because I’m not typically a primer wearer. I did appreciate the mint tingle, but wish I could have seen noticeable plumping. (Again, it did not claim to be a plumper.)
I will most likely be buying the two nudes once I post this up! (Caramelized & Whip) My obnoxious nude lip collection will be growing even more! 🙂
