This weekend, I got to go to Bethany Beach with Andrew, his friend we call Cheese and Cheese’s girlfriend. We got there Friday night after work and left Sunday late afternoon. It was so nice to go to the beach for that one last hurrah for the last weekend of summer. Unfortunately, I did get a little sick on our last day and I’m sitting at work with a small fever and some sniffles 🙁 But here are my 5 Weekend Views!

I’ve been slacking on posting the past few weeks. I’ll get back up on that ASAP. This past weekend I was so lucky to have my wonderful friend Linda in Maryland! She’s an LA native and is going to Boston College for grad school. She is finally on my coast, so I obviously had to have her down in my state. I showed her around Baltimore and DC; here are a few weekend views from our trip! 🙂

I probably gained 50 pounds by eating so much this weekend. But the most notable experience this weekend was exploring Old Town Alexandria–a beautiful historic district in the DMV area. The cobblestone streets and the old brick houses attracts everyone of all ages. I couldn’t get over how beautifully preserved the homes and store buildings were. There was a mix of many different shopping stores living with old mom + pop shops with each other.

I would maybe compare Old Town Alexandria to Old Ellicott City, for the people who is from the Ellicott City area, but Old Town is definitely more established and developed. I would definitely recommend Old Town to anyone hanging out in the DMV area who wants to have a fun weekend out in a very beautiful and busy area.

Here are my five weekend views!
